Gardening

The FCL offers extensive gardening resources for our patrons to utilize year round

The Library Garden

Every summer as a way to kickoff our yearly summer reading program, the FCL plants a library garden sponsored by the Camillus Lowes Home Improvement Store. This garden is not only planted by our young patrons, but also managed and harvested from throughout the summer by all of our patrons as well. It acts as a center for many of our nature related S.T.E.M. programs, and is regularly the site of many fun activities during the warmer months.

The FCL has a plethora of books relating to gardening, landscaping, and houseplants for patrons to check out!

Keep an eye out for future gardening related programs (like our All About Plants program) by visiting our calendar!
